Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 50 COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.The District did not add any new confirmed deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged.Oconee County saw an increase in the seven-day rolling average of added cases.Clarke County reported a decrease in its seven-day rolling average of added cases.Area hospitals reported an increase in COVID-19 patients for the fifth day in a row.Vaccinations in the Northeast Health District are increasing at a slower rate per population than in the state overall.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
