Stories that Move You at Daley Park
April 10-26
Park goers can take a journey around the park and watch a series of short dance films about Daley Park. Created by Methods of Madness Dance Theater and collaborators, these dance films use inspiration from community members who wrote letters to Daley Park that reflected themes of family, joy, play, memories and nature.
Background
Tempe's Arts in the Parks program has evolved over the past year, shifting to virtual or physically-distanced programming to ensure the community's health and safety. Programming is initiated by residents and reflects the identity and values of the park's community. Parks are selected based on resident input, geographic diversity, and park renovation schedules.
