Description
PHOENIX, AZ — National investment firm Fidelity Investments is looking to hire 1,000 licensed financial planners in more than 20 markets, including Phoenix, in the coming months.
Fidelity is adding remote financial planners in Phoenix, as well as other markets like Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Houston, Minneapolis, Tampa, Atlanta and others, the company said.
The company said its decision to expand is due to their goal of wanting to increase the reach of its investor centers and joins the company's hiring spree for technologists and client-facing associates.
Fidelity will increase the number of employees in the former category by 10 percent, while adding 2,500 associates to their payroll, the company said.
"Growing our U.S. footprint and expanding our technology teams will allow us to source diverse and innovative talent to meet our customers' changing financial needs today and, in the future," said Mark Barlow, general manager of Personal Investing, Fidelity Investments.
