West Alabama Schools Make Top 10 Lists In ASWA Softball Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama high school softball playoffs are set to begin the second week of May as the post-season landscape is quickly beginning to take shape. As the regular season winds down, the Alabama Sports Writers Association on Thursday released its latest rankings of the teams in each AHSAA classification, along with AISA schools. Of all area teams, The Northside Lady Rams ranked the highest in its class, coming in at No. 4 in Class 4A, while the Hillcrest Lady Patriots were ranked No. 8 in Class 6A.
