Description
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Spring cleaning is on the minds of many as the weather warms up and the Tuscaloosa County Commission hopes to see a strong turnout for a countywide Spring Clean-Up Day on April 24.
Three drop-off locations will be in each of the four commission districts, which will be manned with large Waste Management containers to deposit throwaway items. Those dropping off items are asked to not bring household/kitchen garbage or tires.
Big Picture: The Spring Cleanup Day also comes after Tuscaloosa County Clean, or TC Clean, was announced in March by the Commission and Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. This will see renewed emphasis placed on litter enforcement and debris cleanup around the county. (More on Patch)
