TUSCALOOSA, AL — A baby opposum is once again free to roam through the woods and local trash cans after a Monday night rescue by officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
TPD said its midnight shift patrol officers were on a call when they found the juvenile marsupial stuck in a glue trap.

"After a quick trip to CVS for a bottle of baby oil, the opossum was freed and released into the woods," the department said on Facebook.
