Hickory Construction is a residential remodeling company that specializes in custom home additions, room remodels and home repair work. Our primary goal is to create great living spaces for our customers while making the construction process itself as enjoyable for everyone involved. Currently, Hickory Construction is looking for someone to join our team and help us provide high quality work while positively interacting with our customers. Common jobs include framing (additions, decks, remodels), demolition and trim Carpentry (kitchens bathrooms, basements, custom cabinetry). Other less common tasks include drywall, painting, roofing and siding. We love working with dependable, honest and hardworking tradesmen. We are happy to train you if you do not have experience in any of these skills. We also hire students for summer and/or part-time positions during the summer and school year. This especially applies to those who are looking for exposure in areas such as engineering, architectural and design. Requirements: A love for this kind of work, dependability, good customer communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to jobsites.
