Re-homing a beautiful female dog

We have a medium mixed breed dog needing a new home. She is fixed and completely house trained. Approximately 8-9 years old, 45- 50 pounds. She has lived with one dog for several years, but is not friendly with other dogs. She’s protective of the people she cares about, sometimes nervous around new adults, but has never been aggressive towards kids. Ideally she needs a home where she will have individual attention and training. She can be very sweet, just really needs more than we can give her.
