Hello, my name is Trevor Martell. I’m a student at the University of Maine and for the last two summers I have run a painting service to help pay for my degree. I am looking for several painters and a production manager (PM) for the summer. General responsibilities for PM include: - Responsible for ALL aspects of production - The hiring & firing, training, and managing of painters - Hitting a predetermined Labor and Material Budget - Hitting a predetermined Two Week production target - Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through customer attention and quality of work. - Coordinating the movement and maintenance of all equipment - To help ensure a consistent flow of work for the crew, the PM will generate new business through referrals Requirements for both: - No fear of heights or ladders - Must have own form of transportation (truck is a plus) - Must be hardworking, self-motivated, and goal oriented - Must be 18 years of age or older - Experience not required, but is a plus Compensation: - Starting wage is $14/hour ($16/hr for PM) - One dollar raise per calendar month PM Bonuses: - 2.5% job price ($60-$300) bonus per job completed on budget - $50 for referrals from jobs completed - $50 for each painter hired, $100 after they have worked one full payroll - 0.05% job bonus ($15-$65) for each estimate set up Additional Benefits: - Great opportunity to make a lot of money, build a resume, and get experience in Management, Sales, and - Customer Relations. - Possible further management promotions available upon successful completion of the summer - Position will include all training necessary to succeed, we hire on character!
