Singer wanted for a fledgling recording company - utilizing analog multitrack tape equipment. Theatrical and/or musical theater experience or the sensibility thereof would be a plus, but talent will supersede all else. These recordings will center around the singer and will more or less be a "solo" project within the broader context of the company or label. A strong, dynamic voice (not necessarily just loud, of course) is required, meaning you should be able to produce a range of tone colors, variations of intensity, loudness, softness, and so on. Although formal training is not necessary, the ability to sing on key (more or less) is. These recordings of original songs and obscure covers will strive to have a simple yet elegant sound with a unique and often romantic character to them as well.
