We are seeking a full time Maintenance Technician for a 65 unit apartment complex located in La Mesa. Duties: - complex cleaning and common area cleaning - attending to resident maintenance requests such as snaking of drains, minor appliance repair, troubleshooting electrical issues, fixing screen windows, doors, cabinets - exterior property repairs and maintenance such as repairing of handrails, painting, power washing, snaking main sewer lines - unit turnovers including painting, wall patching, appliance, light fixture, plumbing fixture, cabinet, electrical repairs or replacement, flooring replacement Skills/Requirements: - 2 years of experience in a similar role (maintenance tech, construction, handyman) - basic proficiency in electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair and flood remediation - plumbing experience a MUST - experience installing vinyl plank flooring a bonus - comfortable climbing up a 2 story building on a ladder - responding to emergency after hour calls This is not a supervisory position but a full-time hands-on role. reduced rent for the right candidate Compensation: - $20-$24/hr depending on experience - reduced rent - bonuses for unit turnovers -vacation -medical please respond via email with resume and salary expectations
