Maintenance Technician Needed for general maintenance and minor remodel work on residential properties. FULL TIME POSITION - 5 days (40 hours per week). Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the following duties: 1.) Must have Plumbing skills to replace faucets, properly set toilets, install sinks, install drain lines, 'sweat copper pipe' for installing angle stops and valves for water lines, clear drain lines and stoppages. 2.) General electrical skills -must be able to troubleshoot electrical problems, replace outlets and switches, breakers, and install light fixtures and LED light cans. 3.) Has the skills to troubleshoot and repair all appliances, and wall furnaces. 4.) Repair/replace screens and window coverings. 5.) General carpentry repairs. repair fences, cabinet doors, hang and plane doors, install windows. 6.) Must be able to perform minor painting touch-ups. 7.)carpet and pad repair/replacement. i) Experience in replacing sheet vinyl or installing vinyl-planking. Applicants with any of these additional skills will be highly considered: 1.) Experience in floor and shower tile instillation. 2.) Experience in Stucco and light Masonry Repairs 3.) Experience in installing and stretching carpet. 4.) Experience in replacing sheet vinyl or installing vinyl-planking. - Time will consist of completing resident requested service orders on a timely and efficient basis. Need to be comfortable working with an iPhone, and Appfolio Software *MUST HAVE 1. Your own tools to get the job done 2. Your own reliable daily work vehicle, such as a truck. 3. A working knowledge of iPhone (company Apple iPhone will be provided). 4. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (Valid CA Driver's license, Social Security card, or Permanent Resident Card) and be able to complete an I9 form. 5. Must be able to read, write and communicate and follow instructions in English. Starting $22.00/hr plus benefits: (50% Health/Dental/Vision - after 60 days). 401(k) - eligible after 12 months of employment Plus gas reimbursement.
