Job Type Full-time Description DOG TRAINER Hourly rate DOE; plus commission. Full-time. Our doggie services business is rapidly growing in the College area of San Diego and we have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of creating our training program from the ground up! Our ideal candidate: Minimum of 2+ years of professional full-time dog training experience, ranging from puppy training to more complicated areas of aggression Board and Train experience Must be flexible to fit our client’s availability and bookings, including nights and weekends Ability to conduct both in facility and private in-home training as well as group classes Be a team player, leading by example and eager to share your knowledge with co-workers Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Must have reliable transportation and be dependable Excellent communication skills with a positive, inspiring attitude with dogs and their parents Timely response to customer inquiries via phone and/or email Participate in PR campaigns, events, and other marketing efforts promoting the business Requires the ability to lift 50+ lbs., standing for long periods, climb stairs, maneuver through obstacles Please send a resume, cover letter, and certifications along with salary expectations([email protected]).
