4 Seasons Carpet Workshop Inc. does Flooring Installations for the blue box stores We have recently acquired additional stores in the Boston area.. growing and expanding requiring more people. We have 3 warehouses: East Providence, RI (main), New Bedford, Ma and Clinton, Ma. Our Clinton, Ma warehouse is looking for an EXPERIENCED WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR The Warehouse Supervisor - Expeditor will do a variety of tasks: # Receive trucks and unload carpet, vinyl, pad (all flooring material) into warehouse using fork truck with pole # Put the material onto the shelf # Keep track and manage inventory # Pull rolls of padding, count out amount needed, cut & bundle padding for each carpet install the Day Before installation # Pull orders off the shelf & "stage" them the day before installation for morning pick up by crews # On the Day of installation, Hand out pre-assigned job assignments & assist in getting the crews out on the road as quickly as possible by loading materials into vehicle of the installation crews # Answer and assist crews with questions about what they will be doing (we will train you) # Using Tablet/Laptop to enter info into a computer program & put notes into the order (we will train you) # Bale padding - place recycle pad into a compactor, bale (tie together) and place in dedicated spot # Clean & maintain warehouse # additional duties as needed.. ** To be considered for the job, please have the following: - Experience 1 year minimum as a warehouse supervisor/expeditor - Experience driving a fork truck - Drivers License and a vehicle - Communication & people skills as you will be interacting with multiple crews & verifying they have the material to do their job - Preferred but not required: experience with using a computer.
