Summary: The Warehouse Associate supports and carries out job functions associated with distribution and stockroom activities of Senko fiber optic component products. They are responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and packing and shipping orders. Physical Requirements: • May require occasional lifting of not more than 50 #’s • Occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling • Frequent standing and walking up to 7 hours in an 8-hour day • Frequent use of key board & monitor for data entry, mouse, & scan gun equipment for bar coding • Moving boxes of product/inventory, using manual pallet jack • Occasional climbing up and down of safety stairs to reach product on upper shelving Qualifications: • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Prior related work experience in shipping, receiving, packing, picking and bar coding • Knowledge of UPS, FEDEX and other freight/shipping software and package handling applications helpful. • Experience in ERP system helpful
