Hello! I am an amateur drummer looking to start a casual band. I'm interested in big band jazz (20-50s or so). I am by no means professional or highly skilled, however, I think it would be great to be able to play some nice upbeat music for people around town and raise people's spirits! All skill levels welcome! Ideally, at least drums, bass, piano, some horns or sax to start with. I have my own kit so I would be looking for anyone who plays piano, bass, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, trombone, banjo, even strings cello or violin, and last but not least singers. Dust off your old high school instruments. Let's see what we can put together to make a difference in our community :) Email me if you are interested, I'll be putting together a list of people interested and when we get enough to play we will hammer out more specific details such as play sets, meeting place/time, etc. Input welcome (especially if you have more experience organizing something like this)
