Prairie Harbor Yacht Club DOCKHAND needed SEASONAL POSITION May through October Weekends and holidays are required No experience or special skills necessary Part time and full time positions available from 3 to 5 days a week STARTING RATE $12/hr Job Description: PHYC is a private marina in Pleasant Prairie, WI, looking for seasonal Dockhands. Dockhands help ensure the entire marina runs smoothly for our boaters, and perform a variety of duties including light dock repair, clubhouse cleaning, trash pickup, event staffing, pool maintenance, boat traffic assistance, and various other maintenance/service duties. Good attitude is required—we are a private marina, and our boaters expect a high level of service. You should be able to perform some physical tasks including lifting heavy objects. Most of the work is outside. Weekends are more “customer service” oriented, while weekdays are more “maintenance” oriented. Perfect summer job for college students! We offer a wide variety of experience and training. Duties change day to day, so there are new challenges every day. Pay increase may be available for returning candidates.
