WTF Looking for New Singer

WTF currently has a rock-solid drummer, lead guitar and bass in place. Just can’t seem to find the right vocalist with a good voice, who can rock and do their homework. We’ve been playing a bunch of Pop/Rock 90’s & 2000's tunes ranging from STP, Tonic, Foo Fighters, Fuel to Shinedown, Basically, good rocking, guitar-oriented music. We’ve been selecting songs democratically, based upon the range of the respective vocalist along with songs within the respective “Wheelhouse” for everyone else. We all have daytime professional jobs, no drug and reliability issues at all. No Egos, First and foremost, this is to be a fun adventure, but since we also want to play out, it needs to be taken seriously. We expect to play gigs that are anywhere from 45-135 minutes, outdoors, parties, opening act, things like this. We don’t expect to make money, this is for fun, but serious fun. Once the world opens up again, we’ve even entertained simply renting a place and having our own parties. We have no interest in trying to be a CLONE band and believe coloring outside the lines is great, as long as those lines follow the core foundation of the song. The energy of the group is always based upon those within it and will always present those unique characteristics. MAKE IT YOUR OWN! We practice at my place in the Southern Highlands area (SW) part of the city using In-Ear Monitors, in conjunction with a Sound Craft UI24R Digital Mixer. Each person has their own personal mix they control. We typically “REHEARSE” once a week in the afternoon, with the expectation that each person has practiced any new songs and/or run through the set, prior to coming to rehearsal. Our objectives are to learn two new songs every other week and play the complete set every alternative week.
