We are looking to fill one position in our operations department and will provide full training for the right candidates.
We are seeking one Yard Worker to join our team whose day to day functions would include:
Yard Worker:
- Checking in and receiving products from vendors.
- Operating a forklift.
- Maintaining yard appearance by covering materials and cleaning up excess waste.
- Building customer's orders for either pickup or delivery.
- Unloading and loading semis, trucks, flatbeds, customer vehicles and our own delivery vehicles.
- Maintaining excellent customer service practices.
The position requires the following skills:
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs
- Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest
- Yard or delivery experience is preferred, but not required
- Self-motivated, can work independently with minimal oversight or guidance after training
- Ability to drive manual transmission is a plus
- Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and coworkers
- Valid driver's license for the driving position is a requirement
- Must be able to maintain a solid attendance record for coming to work and being on time
This is a 40 hour a week, full-time position for our lumber yard located in Wheat Ridge, CO right off I70. Ideal daily shift hours would be from 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday and at least every other Saturday from 8 am -noon but more hours are available once we are back at our peak season beginning in March (not required, but available if you want to earn more). Also, there is flexibility with shift times with reasonable accommodations able to be made along with anything after 40 hours a week is time and a half.
