Masks and face shields are NOT designed to protect YOU from COVID. They are designed to stop you from SPREADING your germs to others. The same way a sneeze guard on a salad bar is NOT designed to protect you from the salad sneezing on you. Or the same reason a surgeon wears a mask during surgery. To stop HIS germs from getting into the open wound on YOUR body. Only a COMPLETE IDIOT thinks wearing a mask is solely to protect himself. It does provide some protection for the wearer but that is NOT the primary reason for wearing one. You protect me and I'll protect you is the thinking. However, conservatives are all total assholes who only care about protecting themselves. THAT is why the pandemic has continued so long.
