ProServe Hood & Duct Services is seeking kitchen exhaust cleaning technicians to join our team. Experience is a plus, but not necessary, as we will train!   MUST have a Valid NC Driver License! Job Responsibilities: Performs tasks involving kitchen exhaust cleaning (KEC) in commercial kitchens, not limited to only KEC. Other general labor/cleaning/pressure washing tasks may also be involved. General Accountabilities: Responsible for pressure washing/steam cleaning. Physically clean/scrape/remove grease from surfaces included but not limited to kitchen exhaust systems, kitchen equipment, and other various kitchen surfaces. Operates various types of hand tools/scrapers. Operate various types of commercial cleaning equipment; such as pressure washers, water heaters, wet vacs, etc... Prepare sites for service. Clean-up sites after service. Drive work vans to and from job sites. Take Before and After Photos of Services. May assist other hood techs/team leaders. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Job Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred. Minimum Experience: None Needed, On the Job Training Valid NC Driver License Skills: Must perform general physical activities and be able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly. Must possess basic knowledge of the language and terminology used in this occupation. Must possess the ability to perform simple repairs on equipment. Must possess the ability to receive and follow direction. Must possess excellent verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Important information about the job: Work in all weather conditions (outdoors and indoors), hot or cold. Inclement weather does not always preclude cancelling jobs. Job is cleaning dirt and grime...this will get on you during each shift. Ability to climb up and down ladders is a must. Fear of heights will not work in this job. Scheduling flexibility required. No set schedule each week (the schedule for the week comes out ahead of time, but the hours each day are NOT the same from week to week). Full Time Position Normal work week is Monday - Friday. Mostly Nights, Some Days. Holidays and Weekends if interested. Benefits include: Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
