Full-Time Appliance Installers and Installer Helpers Wanted

We are a small but fast-growing appliance repair & installation company based in Raleigh. We are seeking several new team members to assist with appliance delivery, installation, and removal. Installers will be paid 25-30% commission or $14/hour, whichever is greater at the end of the pay period. Installer helpers will start at $12/hour with plenty of room to grow! Duties include but are not limited to: -Timely and accurate delivery & install of residential appliances -Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust and install various appliances (tools are company-provided unless you prefer to use your own) -Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Stoves, Laundry, etc. -Loading and unloading anywhere from 75 - 900 lbs. with the assistance of an appliance dolly and helpers. -Moves and places unit(s) into the designated installation spot -Inspects final product for proper operation and damage -Provides the customer with proper use & care information for their new appliance Job Requirements: -Available to work most weekdays between the hours of 7 am-5 pm (weekends off!) -Clean appearance (most tattoos are OK) -Good written and verbal communication skills -Sturdy work boots and back support belt -Clean DMV record and criminal background check -Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening -A friendly, professional, can-do attitude Preferred, but not required skills: -Previous experience in appliance install. If you are mechanically inclined or have experience in automotive repair, HVAC, or construction/carpentry, you might also be well-suited for this job.
