Band Seeks Jazz Drummer who loves Big Star

Established touring band seeking like minded drummer for long-term collaborative thing - as in we're seeking a bandmate. We're all lifers and love the work - and we're dead serious players. Pre-pandemic we were doing a bunch of support work for national acts - mostly west coast touring but also Europe in 2019, SXSW etc. Our drummer and dear friend of many years had to leave LA for pandemic-related reasons and sadly won't be coming back. He's a reformed jazzer who loves rocknroll, and we've generally found in the interim that the best fit with our playing style usually has a similar kind of background - someone who was raised on a combination of Bonham and Max Roach. The writing is generally 70s-ey rocky-rootsy-power-pop - the arrangements are very intricate - lots of stops, syncopation, key changes, dropped beats, things of that nature - two guitars, bass - we all sing.
