Description
The Covid-19 pandemic has shone a light on the public health problem of the wide digital divide affecting the lives of older adults. The vast majority of Pike Market Senior Center members do not have internet connections. We want to offer education, training, and devices to as many as we can, but we need help! We are procuring tablets and hot spots. We don't have the bandwidth to take on this project. We hope to find a UW student to take on the challenge. In-person meetings will be in Covid-19 safe spaces only. Even if parties are vaccinated masks will be required.
