Arway Linen In Need of Help in Our Dry and Finish Department

Job Description: The Dry & Finish Department is responsible for processing products that have been laundered. There are many different positions within the department that operate together to iron, fold, and pack clean products and get them to the department that will process them for delivery. Responsibilities for this department may include, but are not limited to, the following: •Sorting clean products by type, size and color •Feeding clean napkins, tablecloths, and aprons into industrial ironer •Folding towels •Packaging finished products •Operating towel packaging machines There are no special certifications needed and prior experience is not required (but is helpful). Current rate of pay $10 - $12 hourly based on experience Hours are currently Part-Time (up to 30 hours) but may become full time (up to 40 hours) in the near future Benefits: •After 30 days of employment, all employees are able to join the local union and are eligible for all available paid holidays •After 60 days employees are eligible for Health, Dental, and Life insurance at no cost (except for copays for doctor visits and prescriptions) •After 1 year of employment, employees are eligible for paid Sick, Personal, and Vacation days About us: Arway Linen is a family owned and operated linen business in the Frankford neighborhood, we have been serving bars, restaurants, country clubs, retirement homes, and caterers in the tri-state area for over 40 years.
