Hello! I recently came across https://preciousplastic.com/index.html an open source framework for starting recycling businesses. I would like to start a local non profit implementing this in KC. I would like to find some other people who would be interesting in spearheading this with me. I think we could pretty easily get donations to cover the up front equipment costs and could find some local businesses that have a stream of clean waste plastic. Down the road maybe we could partner with schools, etc. with education programs and volunteering. I have a manufacturing background so I feel pretty comfortable with all the technical parts, but just want to see if there is anyone who is also interested in this.
