I’m going to try this again and be even more selective of who we rehome to. Will also take referrals to rescues. We have a almost two year old American Staffordshire Terrier. As of this time she is not spayed. There is an appointment at CSnip for the 22nd of April. It has not been paid for but the appointment can be kept (rabies shot is also scheduled at this time). I tried to rehome before under the conditions she be returned for any reason, this still applies. (The last person brought her back in poorly condition so she has some scaring now (this took less than 24 hours and he has been reported to the police). Roxy is a very loveable dog and just wants to cuddle under blankets and be loved on, she will lick you forever if you let her. She is good with infants and children of all ages. She is however dog reactive (a trainer may be able to help with this, we can’t afford it at this time). She also likes to chase cats, so prefer an only pet home. Her newest habit is digging, I think because I’m unable to exercise her properly. She is roughly 60lbs. She is a picky eater and unfortunately all I’ve found she will eat is Kibbles and Bits. She also needs to be trained to walk on a leash properly, she likes to pull and is very strong. She will come with all supplies I have for her, I.e dishes, food left, treats and bones left, flea and tick medication (due May 4th) flea shampoo and Burts bees conditioner. References from family and friends are required. Would like a vet reference as well if you have one from previous pets. Texting from references prefered. We are rehoming because we are unable to excercise her properly and train her with recall, etc. She knows sit, stay, wait, kinda knows lay down, and go to bed and out (for when we want her out of our room. Would prefer someone with a fenced in yard, land she can run on or someone with an active lifestyle.
