Job Type: Skilled Labor Position Type: Term and gig based projects. Job description: The labor part of the job will be moving tools, equipment and material onto job sites and distributing them within existing buildings. Will include lifting and carrying items as needed. This will require that you be physically able to lift boxes and tools in and out of trucks, into buildings and up stairs if necessary. It will also require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites within 100 mile radius of Chicago. The Skilled part will consists of the assembly and mounting of audio and video equipment as part of a small crew. This will require that you are comfortable measuring, laying out, cutting and drilling into materials like metal, wood and concrete. You should have your own hand tools, drills and levels and have experience using them. Some locations require that we use ladders and motorized lifts, that we provide, to access the work locations. Location: we work in the Northern Illinois area approximately 100 mile radius from Chicago. Term positions may last 4- 8 weeks Gig positions are on a per job basis 1-3 days/ per job, 2-3 jobs/ per month. The work is a mix of gig and term projects.
