We are currently searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Janitor/Building Maintenance personnel to join our company. As the Janitor and/or Building Maintenance Personnel, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include the production floor and all adjacent offices. Responsibilities: • Keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition • Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming • Clean and maintain windows and mirrors • Clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms • Remove waste and empty all trash cans • Perform routine maintenance tasks • Organize custodial closets and spaces • Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment • Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance • Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly • Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard to reach places Qualifications: • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies • Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally • Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations • Attention to detail • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor • Must be able to manage time efficiently • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Work Environment • Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing janitorial tasks • Ability to work with loud noises • Ability to work individually as well as within a team Education • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
