Clark GC fabricator of handrail, misc. metal in Montclair, CA. We are currently looking for a full-time, hard-working Welder Helper that is looking for a career in the welding field. General shop experience is required, but we will train the right person. Substantial growth and opportunities are available for the right person, which has the desire to learn and succeed. Responsibilities: * Assist welders with fitting and assembly of structural members. Tack weld as needed *Ability to work from blueprints with minimal supervision * Use of hand tools to grind welds or prep material as needed * Transfer of materials and finished goods using forklift. *Other work to include drilling, milling, tapping, saw cutting, etc. as needed to prepare material and perform fitup/assembly. * Lean experience is a plus! * Preference given to applicants that have MIG welding experience but no experience is required * Travel to local job sites for installations, and assembly of equipment on job sites. * Clean, maintain, and organize shop tools, and shop environment Requirements: * Strong desire to learn, grow and succeed. * Basic math skills and ability to use a tape measure * Eye for detail and quality * Clean driving record; reliable transportation to work. * US citizenship, or ability to work legally in the USA * Personal traits: organized, detail oriented, honest, reliable, self-starter Please e-mail a resume or past work experience.
