Hello everyone. I'm ready to venture out into music. I have some good experience and I am ready to link and connect with others who share the same passion as I do, when it comes to making great music and enjoying yourself while playing and singing. My paths are eclectic and follow the sounds of some of the following: Dr. John B. B. King Bobby Bland Sheryl Crowe Chuck Berry John Mayall Wilson Pickett Lucky Peterson Elvis Little Richard Stevie/Jimmy Ray Vaughn Marvin Sease Mavis Staples Clarence Carter Ray Charles James Brown Eric Clapton These are just some ideas. I hope to be the front man and lead vocalist with a grand piano or keyboard, and have the same feel as Dr. John or Ray Charles. And of course the rest hopefully will be a bass guitarist, lead guitarist, 2nd keyboardist/organist, solid drummer and 3 occasional background singers. A few days ago, I went into the studio and laid down 2 tracks "The Weight" and also "I like to Live The Love I sing About". I have those on mp3 if you want to listen. Communication and dedication to the group is key for me. If you can't perform, cant make rehearsals when we schedule, or if you just want to play in your garage or basement, then you are answering the wrong ad.
