INTERIOR DESIGN COMPANY is seeking a full-time Handyman with Electrical and Plumbing experience to join our team. Serving Incline Village, North Lake Tahoe and South Reno, our Home Design Center is the one-stop source for interior design and home décor. We offer a wide selection of home products for sale, including furniture, home decor, blinds, shades and shutters. Various duties while working in the shop include, but are not limited to: Assisting with various maintenance issues Troubleshooting electrical and plumbing issues Ability to start and complete a project in full Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs Fill gaps and provide painting services Repair equipment and various machines and appliances Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed You must be able to communicate in an intelligent manner with customers. Our Requirements: Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license. Must have reliable transportation to Incline Village, NV during summer and winter conditions. Proficient in spoken and written English Experience REQUIRED. Must have good handwriting. Must be punctual, reliable and able to occasionally work overtime. Must be skilled with hand tools, power tools, saws, levels, tape measures, etc. Be able to climb stairs and occasionally work on tall ladders. Be able to lift and carry boxes up to 60 lbs. Must be neat in appearance at all times and must conduct themselves in a professional businesslike manner. Must be detail oriented and possess professional pride in their workmanship. Construction experience is highly preferred, but not required. OSHA 10 highly preferred, but not required.
