Machine Operators – Industrial Sewing Machines (JS) Hiring industrial Sewing Machine Operators (3 shifts available) for manufacturing facility in the Greeenspoint area. 1st shift = 7a to 3p 2nd shift = 3p to 11p 3rd shift = 11p to 7a Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Sew material per the specifications on production samples and assembly manuals. • Operate sewing machines proficiently while meeting production the schedule requirements. • Retrieve and distribute materials as needed. • Check quality of work to assure all specifications are met. • Check all safety device features to assure they are in working condition and in place at all times. Requirements: • Must be able to read a tape measure • Must have experience operating manufacturing machinery • Must be able to read directions and follow product specifications • Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly throughout the day • Must be able to understand and read patterns • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen Preferred Skills • Sewing machine experience • General machine operating knowledge • Knowledge of upholstery and sewing techniques
