That brown eyed smooth talker is pretty amazing, right? He tells you the right things, looks at you like (and tells you) you’re the best thing that’s happened to him. Not that good in bed but manages to give you just enough to make you think he could be better. But... no matter what you do, or how much love you give him, it will never be good enough. By the time he starts cheating on you (he’s already lied, and you know it) he’ll have enough reasons to blame you. That is a good few months in. By the time he’s done with you, you will have lost any self respect left (you’ve already “done things” in public cause he wanted you to. Who knows, maybe you’re into “that” too), maybe you will manage to retain a little dignity. But he’ll take no responsibility; it will all be your fault one way or another, or he’ll try to gaslight you and say it never happened. You think you have it made, but good luck. You really have no idea who you spend your nights with.
