Hey all, My name is Chaz and I recently connected with a friend and guitarist named Phil and we are trying to put together a band to practice and perform songs I have written this spring/summer in NYC and beyond. I did another craigslist post just like this one and we had a bunch of people reach out to us which is great. So far we have me on guitar/vocals, Phil on guitar, a keyboardist and a bass player. I am a singer and producer and have an extensive catalog of songs. Me and Phil are working on new music as well. The music is unique, I would describe it as a combination of Kanye West, frank ocean, daft punk and bon iver. The songs were written and produced in studio, but we are hoping from here to repurpose and reimagine them for a band to create an amazing live show with this material. We’re looking for any musicians who would be interested in being a part of this project. Drummer is probably the most needed at this point but still open to anyone who thinks they could bring something to the table. We have some gear we can use but will need to figure out the rest of the equipment and rehearsal space together. Please get in touch if this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of!
