Boston Tree Company seeking ground crew labor in the Needham, Brookline, Newton, Wellesley areas. Job Duties: Assist with the tree crew on the ground, managing debris from the pruning or removal of trees, Operate equipment (vehicles, saws, chippers, etc) safely, Arrive at shop and/or job site on time, and Balance the needs of progress and client satisfaction with safety and compliance. Candidates must be able to follow oral and written direction. To be considered, candidates must have a valid driver's license. We offer competitive hourly rates, paid time off (sick, vacation, personal, and Holiday), 401(k) with company match and more. PPE provided. Snow work available in the slower winter season. Ideal candidate is someone interested in eventually getting into Tree Climbing or Arboriculture. Willing to train the right candidate(s).
