Golden Lions Beer and Cheese Tasting Event The Golden Lions are proud to announce a fundraiser event at Barrels and Bottles on South Golden Road. We are partnering with Barrels and Bottles and the Cheese Ranch for this event. We are doing a Beer and Cheese tasting event to raise money to put into our community betterment fund. The community betterment fund is used to put on the 4th of July event in Golden, provide 3 scholarships to Golden High School students, support BgoldN (a charity with a mission to end hunger), Rocky Mountain Eye Bank that does over 2000 eye transplants each year, post office food drive, supports the food bank at Christian Action Guild, Provides trees to elementary kids for Arbor day, collects eye glasses for the less fortunate, built Lions Park, built the ball fields and most of the Gazebos in Golden to name a few of the things they do annually.
