JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage janitorial staff and handle handyman service calls. Ensure service delivery to our clients, perform, plan, direct and supervise services. OUR COMPANY: A Facility Maintenance services company serving commercial clients throughout South Florida with Janitorial Services, Pressure Washing, Cleaning Services, Facility Maintenance and Repairs (handyman work), and other similar services. LOOKING FOR: A "Hands On" manager who has the experience, drive and commitment to join a growing team. Candidate with extensive Handyman Skills and experience in general repairs. Someone who is not afraid of work and putting in the time and effort. Someone to supervise and manage the handyman and janitorial services we provide. Someone with vision to look at the long term gains, stability and opportunities for growth in a growing company. OUR REQUIREMENTS: Must have be over 25 years of age and legally able to work in the U.S. MUST speak English AND Spanish. Have extensive maintenance tech/handyman skills. Able to manage and supervise janitorial operations or learn them here. Be a "HANDS-ON" manager who will do what it takes to get the job done. Commitment, reliability and results focused. MUST be able to supervise 10 to 15 employees. Must have experience in: > Basic fixing of doors, cabinets, hinges, handles, drywall work (repair, prep, sand paint) etc. > Basic plumbing to fix clogs, flappers, flushing mechanisms, toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, filters, etc. > Basic electrical like changing lights, ballasts, fixtures, switches, outlets and troubleshooting, etc. > Addressing minor floor issues like baseboards, carpet tiles, tile, vinyl floors, transitions, etc. > Have knowledge of equipment, tools and their maintenance. Must know or be able to assume responsibility for supervising: > Cleaning, janitorial services, equipment, tools and organization. > Handling multiple projects and locations. > Effectively managing employees. > Meeting with clients, following plans of action and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. > Flexibility when needed in schedule and be On-Call as needed. > Candidates must have a clean and valid driver's license and clean background. > This MUST be your primary source of work and focus. SALARY AND BONUSES: Exempt Employee – Salary Starts at $40,020.00 annually paid bi-weekly. Increases based on performance reviews. Bonuses are periodically awarded based on performance, reliability, work product and dedication. SIGN ON BONUS: There is an additional One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) signing bonus after 180 days of satisfactory continuous employment based on commitment, reliability and results. BONUSES: Bonuses available and awarded based upon work performance, reliability, results and commitment to operations.
