This is an opportunity for Louisiana Baptists to hear directly from Ed Litton on his plans as president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Our convention is at a critical juncture, and there is a certain type of leader we need at this time. Many of us believe Ed Litton exemplifies what a president of the SBC should be: conservative, compassionate, honest, thoughtful, and evangelistic. However, you don't need to just take our word for it. Now is your chance to meet with him and hear directly from him about his vision for our convention. Lunch is free! We'll take the first thirty minutes to eat, and then the next hour will be devoted to fellowshipping with and hearing from Ed. This event isn't just for pastors, but for anyone concerned about our convention and committed to a big tent approach to cooperation within the bounds of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
