COMPLETE DETAILS AT https://www.latrail.org/bayou-vermilion-paddle-battle DATE: SATURDAY APRIL 24, 2021 *Long race: 34 miles (finishers qualify for the LA Triple Crown) *Medium race: 25 miles (Cafe 20.3 to Milton and back) *Short race: 9 miles (To Lake Martin Road and back) *Super short race: 1.8 miles (CafĂ© 20.3 to Vermilionville and back) *Litter Critters: Not a race, just paddling on the banks to see which paddler and paddling team picks up the most trash by the time the last racer arrives. Paddle, eat, and do something good for the Vermilion! Great activity for non-racing spouses or a family outing! Grab some co-workers and make a team! The 2nd annual BVPB offers a 34 mile race. It is the second race of the Louisiana Triple Crown series. The first race of the series is the Ouachita River 49er (TBD) and concludes with the Tour du Teche (TBD). Open to all human powered boats.
