National Senior Citizens Day
Senior Citizens Day is held annually on August 21st, which is a day to recognize the contributions older people have made and continue to make to our society.
This is a special day that is devoted to senior members. It affords the opportunity to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments. It is important for us to remind them that we acknowledge and honor their achievements, and that they are still valued members of our society, though they may not be economically active participants.
