Description

We are an automotive machine shop in Seaside that has been in business since 1965. The machine shop has an excellent reputation and following around town. We are in need of a part time (with potential to eventually become full time) employee to work in the machine shop as well as potentially run quick deliveries as needed and answer phone calls. We are a two man family run shop, so being self-driven and a team player is a must. We would expect this person to be able to turn drums & rotors, resurface flywheels, resurface cylinder heads, valve jobs, engine building, block boring and honing, press work, and other automotive machine shop work. We are willing to train but some knowledge is helpful. We would also expect this person to have a valid CA driver’s license with a clean record. The starting salary will depend on your qualifications, willingness to learn, and number of years of actual experience in these areas.
