Moving and Clean Out Laborer

Caring Transitions is currently looking for moving and clean out laborers. This position will involve helping pack and move client’s possessions into assisted living communities or to other downsized living arrangements. We also will move select single pieces or sets of furniture from a client’s home to a family members home or donation center. We DO NOT do whole house moves, moves involving large sets of stairs, or overly large and heavy items like pianos or pool tables. In addition to moving labor this person would help with home clean outs which involves filling and hauling trash bags, or carrying items or furniture, to an onsite dumpster or trailer for removal/donation/recycling. In order to succeed in this position, you must be able to handle a strong physical workload. Currently this is a flexible part time position that typically can provide about 5-6 hours a day, 3-4 days per week. We schedule the work for our clients typically Mon thru Sat 9am-3pm AS NEEDED. You can tell us what days you are able to work. There is no mandatory schedule. Work on the days you are able to. So, it is great for college students, retirees, or someone just looking to pick up some hours outside of their regular job and only have certain days they can work. Our company is growing and has a large protected territory that includes NW Omaha, Elkhorn, Bennington, Fremont, Blair, Fort Calhoun, and surrounding areas. We provide a very needed and sought out service. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs, have reliable transportation, and be able to travel and work throughout our territory. Due to frequently working in the homes of vulnerable adults, applicants may be asked to submit to a background check.
