Description

I have 2 boys for adoption. I got them from a friend so they wouldn't be sent to the humane association. I have taken them to the groomers one a month since Aug 2020. I have gotten them both neutered and gotten them up to date on all 3 shots Rabies, depo-porvo (sorry if that's not the correct name for it), and they're bordetella shot. Let me tell you about them. The friend I got them from (who I haven't known real long) said that they have been together since the youngest one was 4 months old. He's now 6yrs old. While these two have supposedly been together all their lives. They don't get along that well. I will NOT rehome them together. Still Available ‐-------Bear is the tan one. He's a 6yr old chiwiennie. Chihuahua dashound cross. Bear has arthritis in his back and hips. The vet said it is common for this breed of dog. Bear needs to be an only dog. He tends to be a big bully, and gets VERY aggressive towards other dogs. Especially Male or small dogs. He is also not completely potty trained. Although between the 2 of the boys bear is a lot better about not marking or pottying in the house than Momo. Bear does pretty good home alone, but he is a Barker. He like to bark at about everything. This is something you will need to consider if you live in an apartment. Bear is a pretty strong little guy. I don't think he would be good with kids under the age of 6yrs old. He does pull on the leash as well and is very strong for a little guy. So anyone whose unsteady on their feet might have some difficulty with him. I have done a lot with them, but they're just not getting along with my other dog, and or my mom and friends dogs. -----Still available-------Momo is the black one. He's a 9yr old schnoodle. His few claws have been removed, so my groomer thought he might be a purebred, but I have no way of knowing that for certain. Momo has seemed to be prone to UTI'S he has had 2 since last Aug, and his old owner said he has gotten them frequently. Not sure why. Right now we are just monitoring him, and watching to see if he gets anymore. Momo can get very hyper, and loves to jump and grab onto things with his front legs. He's very needy. He gets really bad separation anxiety from people. He thinks he needs to be around people 24/7. He craves attention. I was told both boys were house broke. This is definitely not the case. I have gotten him use to being kenneled at night, and until he's been properly potty trained I wouldn't trust him out of a kennel at night. He does love to sleep with you. He wasn't fixed when I got him. He is fixed now. He got fixed in November of 2020. So he does tend to mark on everything. I've been working with him on this, but it's not going well. He does okay with the groomer as far as baths go, but he gets a lot of anxiety, and trys to fight the clippers. He will be getting his hair cut April 13th. He did great with his haircut, and is learning to trust the groomer. I have done a lot with them, but they're just not getting along with my other dog, and or my mom and friends dogs. I have them on iams senior dog food, and I can split the bag between the two. They also have toys, leash, collar and a bed. I only have 1 large kennel and that will not come with them. They will NOT be rehomed together. There is a rehoming fee. The rehoming fee amounts may be a little negotiable for the right home, but there will be a rehoming fee. I need to make sure they go to a good home, and that they will be taken care of. I will need to make sure they're going to a good home so vet, family, and friend references will be required. Rehoming fee will be required, and fee can definitely be reduced upon these references and on the right home. These boy will continue to go to the groomer monthly, and receive vet care monthly, and their medication as needed.
