Guest speakers, community organizations, live DJ, food, resource tables, give away items and fun activities to support our Foster youth! It is important for foster youth to be connected with caring community members, parents, family, friends and most importantly other foster youth and adults. May 2021 is National Foster Care Month. On May 15th, 2021 at 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at AV YouthBuild, we are planning to host a community event to raise support of those most vulnerable in our child welfare system specifically in the Antelope Valley. At this event, we will have guest speakers, elected officials, community organizations, a live DJ, food, resource tables, give away items and fun activities.
