Benefits: Great working environment Paid Training Medical Dental and Vision insurance 401K Job Duties Include: Cooperate with and assist the painter in prepping of vehicles for paint (disassemble body parts, sand, mask, tape, etc.) Review Repair Order for scope of work, and make changes for additional work needed and/or work not completed Prepare vehicles and parts for primer and final paint application Assist in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity Buff and/or clean surfaces after all intermediate coats of paint Polish final coat of paint Transport and move vehicles as needed Maintain clean and safe work area(s) Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: 1 year minimum experience working in a body shop paint department Experience in prepping, masking and buffing fresh paint Ability to wet sand, jam and prime/block Ability to disassemble and reassemble automotive body parts Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with attention to detail Self-motivated with good work ethic Willingness to learn Must have a valid driver’s license Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms and to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and components; occasionally required to stoop or crawl and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
