Teddies Fest Doubles Tennis: 90 minutes of match play in 6 competitive divisions Teddies Fest is a day-long celebration of community tennis at Lake Hiawatha Park on June 26th, 2021. Lake Hiawatha Park boasts the largest public community of outdoor tennis players in South Minneapolis and is home of the Roosevelt High School Teddies Girl's tennis program. Teddies Fest will provide doubles match play for adults as well as free tennis-oriented activities for kids of all ages in the fields surrounding the courts. Teddies Fest Doubles Tennis Match Play is a fundraiser for the Roosevelt High School Teddies Girl's Tennis Team. Doubles teams will register for a 90 minute match play time slot, competing in one of the 6 divisions: Men's Combined USTA Levels of 6-6.5 8 am - 9:30 amMixed Doubles Combined USTA Levels of 6-6.5 9:30 am - 11amWomen's Combined USTA Levels of 6-6.5 11am - 12:30Women's Combined USTA Levels of 6.5-7 1:30 pm - 3 pmMixed Doubles Combined USTA Levels of 6.5-7 3 pm - 4:30 pmMen's Combined USTA Levels of 6.5-7 4:30 pm - 6 pmMatch play will be scored and facilitated by a tennis professional. All players will receive an official Teddies Fest T-shirt. Bring the whole family for free tennis activities in the fields surrounding the courts.
