Join Tech Beach for our Earth Day event featuring organizations and companies furthering sustainability, sustainability tech and wellness. Hellooo Tech Beach-ers!! To celebrate Earth Day, we will be hosting a gathering of organizations and companies furthering sustainability, sustainability tech and wellness. The event will be held at the new home-base for Tech Beach programming, 235 Lincoln Road, 4th Floor Rooftop in Miami Beach. The event will be free to attend but we will be accepting donations at the door for the benefit of the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens. We will also be auctioning off some amazing, locally-grown plants with proceeds going to the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens. The evening will feature keynote speaker, Daniel Kleinman, Founder & CEO of SeaWorthy Collective, who will be presenting about his two-pronged approach to bringing about systemic change to make South Florida a hub for blue tech. Using the venture studio and non-profit model, Daniel's team will strategically deploy capital, provide resources, and develop partnerships with key stakeholders in order to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in existence today. The evening will also include presentations from local leaders in the mindfulness and wellness community, Lucas Irwin of Rebel Mindfulness and Irina Vlada of 8evolve, about the nexus between conscious living and sustainability. Space will be limited so please be mindful with your RSVP. County and city rules related to Covid will be followed. Masks will be required for entrance as well as signing a Covid waiver and release.
