Albert, a beautiful mixed breed cat with flame point coloring, needs a new home. Albert is a good cat, but mom needs to give him up for non-Albert-related reasons. Albert was adopted in January of 2019 as as a kitten, and is now about 2.5 years old. He is a very smart and determined cat, with a bit of a Siamese personality. He has the run of the house because he hasn't met a door yet that he can't open, and he's even been able to make it through some locks! Albert is active and playful, but he also knows how to settle down and sit in your lap when you're working or reading a book. He likes to cuddle up with you when you're sleeping, and you will rarely wake up without him present. He's a big purr machine and will let you know that he's happy. Albert gets lonely and anxious if left alone for long periods and would not be a good cat to leave at home alone all day, so he'd be best for a family, a remote worker, or perhaps a multi-pet household. He did not grow up with other cats, but he has lived with a dog, and while he didn't enjoy competing for attention, he can get along. He can also get mouthy when he's overstimulated, so he might not be a great fit for a family with very small children. Albert would come home with: - His cat carrier. - A few days of his normal diet, which is fancy feast wet food pate - His litter box and extra litter, if you'd like. He currently uses walnut litter. - His cat tent. - A few cat toys. - His kitty water fountain. - Some cat food dishes, if you'd like. - If you'd like, I can also send you off with his scratching post and his cardboard scratcher. Adopting Albert will require a rehoming fee, for his safety. His shots may be slightly out of date. All his vet records will be made available.
