Description
Local Durable Medical Equipment/Disposable Medical Supply company provides home medical equipment/service to elderly and frail in our community. These services include but are not limited to; installing wall-mounted grab bars and hand held shower heads, delivering and setting up shower chairs and other bathroom safety equipment. Assembling, delivering and setting up large medical equipment like hospital beds and lift chair/recliners. This position will also include some warehouse responsibilities (forklift and inventory management experience is a plus).
We're looking for an experienced maintenance/installation tech to add to our team on a part time basis, who would handle our periodic orders as they come up. The work schedule would be approx. 9-20 hours a week (3-15 orders per week). Work schedule will fluctuate on a Week A, Week B rotation (with some variation based on order volume). Infrequent heavy lifting will be required throughout the process of your role (An independent contractor option is also available).
We understand that for some candidates, this may be a second occupation. This is acceptable as long as our clients are attended to in a timely fashion (to be clarified upon hire).
The ideal candidate will be experienced in maintenance, commonsensical, able to be self-taught (willing to learn and adapt), approachable and have good customer service skills.
